Care Instructions
Hand wash cold or use a delicate cycle. Hang or lay flat to dry. Iron on low heat if needed.
New Star Fabric Fabric for Weddings, Events, Fashion & Décor
This was purchased for a somewhat unique purpose: to be used as a transparent scrim for video projection. We got three samples to test, in white, silver, and gray. The white actually captures the projection too well and didn't achieve the desired see-through effect. The silver and gray both worked much better, but the silver was a bit too dark as a scrim. The gray was just about perfect.
The only issue is that chiffon only comes in ~5 foot widths and we need something closer to 10 feet. We ended up finding a voile alternative in larger bolts that works well. If you have a smaller project, the gray chiffon is excellent and affordable.
As for New Star, they shipped quickly and what we received was exactly as described. That's enough for me to recommend them.

Great for a transparent projection scrim
This was purchased for a somewhat unique purpose: to be used as a transparent scrim for video projection. We got three samples to test, in white, silver, and gray.
