Thank you for choosing New Star Fabric. Our goal is to make your shopping experience fast, simple, and reliable — whether you’re ordering a few yards or full rolls for weddings, events, décor projects, or reselling.

Here’s everything you need to know about how your fabric is processed, packed, and delivered from our Los Angeles warehouse.


 Processing Time

Most orders ship within 1 business day.
Large, wholesale, or multi-roll orders may require additional handling time, depending on the volume.

Orders placed after business hours or on weekends begin processing the next business day.


 Shipping Methods

We use trusted carriers including:
• USPS
• UPS
• FedEx
• Freight carriers for extra-large orders

Shipping method is automatically selected based on weight, size, and destination to ensure the fastest possible delivery.


 Local Pickup (Los Angeles Warehouse)

Customers in Southern California can pick up their orders directly from our warehouse.

Pickup Hours:
Monday–Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM

If you place an online order for pickup, you’ll receive a notification when it’s ready.


 How We Package Your Fabric

We take great care to ensure your fabrics arrive clean, protected, and ready to use.

Depending on the fabric type and yardage, your order may arrive:
• Bagged and wrapped
• Folded and sealed
• Rolled on cores
• Boxed or poly-wrapped
• Packed on pallets for bulk orders

Our packaging is designed to keep fabric safe during transit, especially for event fabrics such as chiffon, voile, satin, taffeta, velvet, and more.


 Delivery Time Estimates

Delivery times vary by location:
• West Coast: 1–3 business days
• Central U.S.: 2–4 business days
• East Coast: 3–5 business days
• Remote areas: May require additional time

Tracking information is emailed automatically once your order ships.


 Missing, Damaged, or Lost Packages

If your package arrives damaged or is missing items, please contact us right away so we can help resolve the issue quickly.

Photos of the packaging and fabric will help us assist you faster.

For lost shipments, we work directly with the carrier to track or replace the order when appropriate.
